Died in the 74th year of her age, on Wednesday the 13th day
of May, after ten days illness, greatly lamented by all who
had the beneficial pleasure of knowing her. Mrs. Elizabeth
Kilburne, mther of Mr. John Richardson, Barrack-master in
Montreal.
O parent earth, we now resign the dust
Of one as pious, virtuous, and just,
As lapsed man can boast, or proof can bring to bear
Of maid, wife, or widow, for this many a year.

AN ELEGY ON MRS. ELIZABETH KILBURNE.
  Servant of God, well done!
  Thy glorious warfare's past,
The battle gain'd; the race is run,
And thou art crown'd at last.
